As part of a worldwide tiger conservation programme, the manufacturer of Tiger Balm, Haw Par Healthcare Limited has sponsored the relocation and adoption of three young Siberian tigers. The female siblings are now living at Woburn Safari Park in Bedfordshire. They represent animals under serious threat of extinction. There are only around 350 of this species of tiger surviving in their native Russia.

Woburn Safari Park has one of the largest drive-through animal reserves in the UK. The park is a former winner of the English Tourism Council top award visitor attraction of the year. It is hoped that the tigers will join an extensive breeding programme to ensure that future generations are able to appreciate this magnificent animal.

Tiger Balm also sponsors two Landrovers which allow the rangers to tail the tigers whenever the park is open. The vehicles are essential, both for looking after the tigers and ensuring safety of the thousands of visitors to the park.
